Washington provides Israel with billions of dollars in military support per year—much of it through aid rather than direct sales.

In December, the Pentagon announced that Boeing secured an $8.6 billion contract for the F‑15 Israel Program, following President Donald Trump’s landmark meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida.

The deal will see Boeing design, integrate, test, and produce 25 new F‑15IA fighter jets for the Israeli Air Force, with an option to supply 25 more.

The Pentagon underscored that the deal falls under foreign military sales to Israel, signaling Washington’s enduring role as the nation’s principal arms supplier.

It also noted that the contract will be carried out in St. Louis, with completion slated for December 31, 2035.

Pro‑Palestinian and anti‑war demonstrators across the United States have repeatedly urged Washington to halt military aid to Israel over its devastating war in Gaza that lasted for two years.
