Everything you need to know about the World Grand Prix Tournament Dates and Venue: The 2026 World Grand Prix is scheduled to run from Tuesday, February 3, through to Sunday, February 8. Last year, for the first time in its history, the event moved outside of Great Britain to be hosted at the spectacular Kai Tak Arena in Hong Kong, where it remains. UK Television Coverage: In the United Kingdom, exclusive live television coverage for the tournament will be provided by TNT Sports, beginning at 5am on Tuesday morning. Fans will need a subscription to access the full broadcast as there is no traditional free-to-air television option for this event. Digital Streaming Options: Viewers who prefer to watch online can stream every match live through the discovery platform. This service allows subscribers to follow the action across multiple devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. Radio and Audio Access: While there is no dedicated national radio broadcast scheduled, fans can often find live audio commentary through the World Snooker Tour’s digital match centre. Additionally, some international betting platforms may offer live audio streams alongside their real-time scoring updates. ITV History: ITV had been the long-term home of the World Grand Prix, having broadcast the tournament since its inception in 2015. Their coverage was a staple for free-to-air viewers and helped establish the event as a prestigious part of the “Players Series.” Reason for ITV Departure: ITV decided not to broadcast this and last year’s edition due to the tournament’s relocation to Hong Kong and the resulting unfavourable time difference for UK audiences. The broadcaster expressed regret over the decision, noting the live timings made it difficult to fit into their standard domestic programming slots. Expected Line-up: The competition features the top 32 players from the one-year ranking list, led by defending champion Neil Robertson. Other major stars expected to compete for the £180,000 top prize include world-class talents like Gwent hero Mark Williams, Mark Selby, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump.
