Check Out What’s Cooking in the Post Apocalyptic Cleaning Kit
Nitrous Butterfly has revealed the first major development roadmap for P.A.C.K. :: Post Apocalyptic Cleaning Kit, outlining its plans for 2026 and setting a clear course toward the game’s full 1.0 release. Following its Early Access launch on December 9, 2025, the studio aims to build on early momentum by steadily expanding the game’s scale, mechanics, and narrative depth.

Throughout 2026, players can expect a series of substantial content updates designed to grow the world far beyond its initial offering. Multiple new levels will roll out over the year, introducing fresh environments to explore and restore while deepening the sense of a forgotten, post-human world.
These additions will significantly expand the game’s scope and variety, giving players more spaces to clean, uncover, and reflect within.
The roadmap also highlights new mechanics and upgrades focused on enhancing the first-person simulation. Nitrous Butterfly plans to introduce more advanced robot capabilities and improved cleaning technology, allowing players to approach restoration tasks with greater flexibility and creativity. These upgrades aim to evolve the core gameplay loop while preserving the calm, methodical pace that defines the experience.
Looking further ahead, the studio has confirmed that P.A.C.K. :: Post Apocalyptic Cleaning Kit is targeting a full 1.0 release in 2027, marking its transition out of Early Access. This milestone will represent the culmination of the planned expansions and system refinements.
In PACK, players step into the role of a tireless machine tasked with restoring abandoned structures. By washing walls, vacuuming debris, and recycling remnants of the past, they gradually uncover traces of humanity’s disappearance. The game blends tactile cleaning mechanics with understated environmental storytelling, encouraging exploration, patience, and quiet discovery rather than rushing toward completion.
