Netmarble has rolled out a major update to the official website for its upcoming monster-taming action RPG, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, enhancing the game’s global presence with expanded story content, character details, and broader language support. The redesigned site aims to better introduce players worldwide to the game’s universe as it approaches launch.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE serves as the long-awaited sequel to the 2013 mobile hit Monster Taming. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game blends cinematic storytelling with fast-paced, real-time action combat that revolves around three-character tag-team mechanics. Alongside combat, players can engage with the returning “Monsterling Collection” system. This allows them to capture, collect, and synthesize monsters to fight as companions. Netmarble currently targets a multi-platform release on PC and mobile in the first half of this year. Moreover, the global pre-registration is already live.
The website update places a strong emphasis on narrative and character introductions. New profile pages spotlight Episode 1 characters such as Cloud, Verna, Mina, Ophelia, and Francis, featuring 2D artwork, in-game 3D models, and voice performances in both English and Japanese. Netmarble also plans to add characters from other regions, including Varein, Serenia, and Muwon, in future updates.
To support its growing international audience, Netmarble has expanded the site’s language options from three to twelve. In addition to Korean, English, and Japanese, the website now supports other languages. This includes French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Indonesian.
Following appearances at events like Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show, and Brazil Game Show, the updated website now serves as a central hub for ongoing updates as MONGIL: STAR DIVE moves closer to release.
