Demon Tides 1.1 Update Goes Live With New Game Plus, Randomizer Mode, and Major Fixes

Demon Tides Gets Even Bigger

Fabraz, the indie studio behind Demon Tides, has rolled out the game’s first major update, bringing a wave of fresh content and improvements just weeks after its successful launch on Steam. The 1.1 patch arrives following an overwhelmingly positive reception from players, and it significantly expands the overall experience with new modes, quality of life upgrades, and a long list of fixes.

One of the headline additions is the new Game Plus mode, which allows players to restart the adventure using a completed save file. While the story resets, previously unlocked outfits, dyes, and talismans carry over. To keep things challenging, the game makes enemies tougher, doubles the damage, and removes certain conveniences like shortcut ropes.

The update also introduces a Randomizer mode, offering players a completely unpredictable playthrough. It shuffles rewards from chests, boss fights, and challenges, changes shop inventories dynamically, and mixes enemy types and biomes, creating unusual scenarios across the world. For players seeking an extra layer of chaos, the Randomizer HEX mode automatically equips every collected item, removing all control over loadouts.

Beyond gameplay additions, the patch improves usability with refined interaction prompts, such as separating graffiti viewing from general actions. Leaderboards have also been enhanced, allowing players to filter entries based on ghost data.

With numerous bug fixes and overall polish included, the 1.1 update marks a strong step forward for Demon Tides as it continues to evolve post-launch. If you want to learn more about the game, then check out our official review right here!
