Pune with the launch of two properties, Olive Hotel Baner with 48 rooms and Olive Hotel Wakad with 30 rooms.

Located in Pune’s key business and lifestyle micro-markets, the two hotels are aimed at serving the city’s growing IT corridors, corporate hubs and expanding residential catchments. Pune, driven by the Hinjewadi IT hub, rapid infrastructure development, and rising business travel, is seen as a high-growth market for tech-enabled, efficient hospitality formats.

Baner and Wakad focus

Olive Hotel Baner is positioned in the established Baner area, offering proximity to corporate offices and social infrastructure. Olive Hotel Wakad targets Hinjewadi commuters and long-stay business travellers, with easy access to Westgate Business Park and the Mumbai–Pune Expressway.

Western India growth

The Pune launch anchors Olive’s expansion strategy in western India. The company plans to scale to over 40 hotels with more than 1,200 rooms in the region by 2030, focusing on locations such as Hinjewadi, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Hadapsar, Kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar and Koregaon Park.

National expansion plans

At the national level, Olive by Embassy aims to add over 100 new locations in 2026, building on its presence across cities such as Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chikmagalur, and Vijayawada.
