Dubai real estate sector recorded $5.9bn of transactions last week, including $12m branded residence

The Dubai real estate sector recorded AED24.24bn ($6.6bn) of transactions last week, according to data from the Land Department.

Sales transactions dominated the figures, with AED18.39bn ($5.7bn), according to Land Department data.

In total there were 4,316 sales transactions recorded between January 19 and 23.

Dubai real estate last week

Among the most expensive sales transactions listed on the Land Department website were:

  • An apartment in Bulgari Lighthouse Dubai in Island 2 sold for AED80m ($21.8m)
  • An office in Lumena by Omniyat in Business Bay sold for AED53m ($14.4m)
  • An office in Lumena by Omniyat in Business Bay sold for AED52.7m ($14.3m)

The Land Department also showed mortgage deals worth AED4.99bn ($1.4bn) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED862m ($235m).
