Dermot O’Leary shared a heartfelt tribute to This Morning co-star Alison Hammond as she celebrated her 51st birthday.
The TV star marked the occasion on Thursday (February 5) by posting a photograph of herself on Instagram, captioning it: “This is 51.”
Among those sending birthday wishes was Dermot, who took to Instagram to honour his Friday co-presenter on the ITV programme, reports the Daily Star.
He posted a picture of Alison on the This Morning sofa, writing: “Happiest of Birthdays to the funniest, most kind, wise, loyal partner and friend to have on my dance card. Big love Ali x.”

This Morning’s Cat Deeley also paid tribute to Alison, uploading a photograph of the two of them together alongside the message: “Happy Birthday to my ultimate bab.”
Numerous fans joined in with their own birthday messages, with one commenting: “Happy birthday! Your laugh always makes my day.”
Another wrote: “Happy birthday babs, you bring the sunshine to our TVs,” whilst a third dubbed the Birmingham-born star a “Brummie Queen”, adding a heart emoji.
One viewer referenced Alison’s other major presenting commitment, saying: “Happy Birthday to this lady that makes me funny every time on Bake Off and This Morning. Always bringing the good vibes whatever time of the year.”
Another admirer said: “You are such a special, funny, talented, entertaining person.”
One fan chimed in to say that Alison and Dermot were the “perfect partnership” on the ITV daytime show.
A post on This Morning’s Instagram read: “Happy Birthday to our one and only @alisonhammond55! Here’s to another year of infectious laughs, crazy dance moves and iconic interviews!”.
Alison also took the opportunity to wish her son a Happy Birthday as the mother and son share the same birthday, February 5, with Alison giving birth to Aidan on her 30th birthday in 2005. The star posted a photo of them together on her Instagram Story, sharing with her followers: “Aidan is 21 today. Happy birthday my wonderful handsome son.”
