Legionbound Is Launching This April on Steam

Lead Your Heroes in Legionbound

Spicy Garlic Games has announced that Legionbound will launch on PC via Steam this April. The Steam store page is already live, complete with a free demo that lets players jump in early and get a feel for the chaos before release. Wishlisting is open now for those ready to rally their future legion.

Legionbound blends retro, party-based RPG sensibilities with modern autobattler combat, creating a fast-moving experience where preparation matters just as much as spectacle. Battles play out automatically, but success hinges on the decisions you make long before the fighting starts. Recruiting the right heroes, stacking powerful synergies, and committing to questionable but ambitious builds can mean the difference between a legendary run and a total wipeout. Instead of carefully tuning a small party, the game encourages excess, letting players command up to 50 heroes at once in what can only be described as a roaming fantasy avalanche.

Although combat resolves on its own, players stay deeply involved. You can reposition heroes across rows, cast unlockable spells mid-run, and buy passive items that enhance unlocked skills, allowing for constant optimization as threats escalate.

The game offers two main modes. Battle Mode challenges players with endurance-focused runs across different maps, pushing them to survive as long as possible while continuously recruiting and evolving heroes. Adventure Mode leans into roguelite design, tasking players with placing structures, navigating varied maps, and managing risk as the ever-strengthening Endbringer looms.

Progress persists between runs as well. Even failure earns skill points, unlocks upgrades, and expands a detailed skill tree, ensuring each attempt grows stronger, smoother, and more customizable than the last. So, wishlist it right now and prepare for its launch this April.
