Sunpeak Games has officially opened the Steam playtest for its upcoming title, RentPoly, inviting players to get hands-on with its roguelike spin on real-estate domination. Interested players can request access directly from the game’s Steam store page, while the newly released announcement trailer offers a first look at the game’s core systems and chaotic money-making potential.
RentPoly blends the structure of a classic board game with roguelike progression, challenging players to build outrageous economic engines through smart decisions and bold risks. The goal is simple but ruthless: stack greedy synergies, squeeze every possible coin from tenants, and snowball your way toward becoming a full-blown billionaire. Each run pushes players to think strategically as they manipulate the city to serve their ever-growing empire.
The game offers a deep pool of content designed to encourage experimentation and replayability. Players can invest in more than 130 unique properties to attract tenants and generate rent, while over 200 tools allow for powerful and sometimes absurd synergy combinations. A selection of 30 foods can tip the odds in your favor, while more than 10 drinks boost property values at critical moments. With 10 playable characters and five distinct maps, every run feels fresh and unpredictable.
In RentPoly, no decision is trivial. Every purchase, demolition, build choice, and dice roll can radically alter the outcome of a run.
